Demet Tuncer is a two time winner of Türkiye’s Tony Award for stage acting, a global keynote speaker and charismatic leadership strategist. After three decades captivating millions on screen and commanding global stages from the World Economic Forum in Davos to the FIFA World Cup, she created The Celebrity Charisma Code™, the methodology she now brings to leaders at organizations including Pfizer, Ford and NATO DIANA to help them command attention, earn trust and become impossible to ignore.

For three decades, Demet Tuncer mastered the art and psychology of captivating audiences. As a two time winner of Türkiye’s Tony Award for stage acting and an international host, she built a nationally recognized career in Türkiye, captivating millions on screen and commanding global stages from the World Economic Forum gala in Davos to the FIFA World Cup and FIBA World Championship.

In 2016, following her husband’s job transfer, Tuncer moved with her husband and their four year old daughter to Portland, Oregon. The public identity she had spent decades building disappeared almost overnight. She went from national celebrity to, in her words, “a celebrity in a household of three.”

Her fame did not cross the Atlantic. Her charisma did.

In Portland, women began asking Tuncer to help them develop what they saw in her: the ability to captivate a room, create connection, earn trust and move people. Their requests confronted her with a question she had never needed to answer: How do you teach charisma?

Tuncer began reverse engineering what had become instinctive over a lifetime and had been tested across three decades of captivating millions on screen and commanding global stages. From that work, The Celebrity Charisma Code™ was born, a methodology for turning charisma from an abstract concept into a tangible, teachable and repeatable skill that can be developed, refined and mastered.

Today, Tuncer is a global keynote speaker and charismatic leadership strategist whose work spans Fortune 500 companies, government, deep tech and defense.

Her work was born from an unusual laboratory: a lifetime studying people and three decades in front of audiences.

Tuncer built a nationally recognized career in Türkiye across theater, television, film, voice performance and international hosting. Years on stage and on camera became an education in audience psychology, human behavior, stagecraft, vocal mastery, storytelling and the physical language of presence. She won Türkiye’s Tony Award for stage acting twice, and holds a further national theater award.

She became a household name through 148 episodes of Çocuklar Duymasın, Türkiye’s number one rated family sitcom during its run, and became the Turkish voice of Disney’s Princess Tiana. As an international host, she commanded stages including the World Economic Forum gala in Davos, the FIFA World Cup, the FIBA World Championship and international presidential summits.

Her career also placed her in rooms with presidents, dignitaries and some of the world’s most recognizable public figures, including Türkiye’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Donald Trump, Melania Trump and Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Then, in 2016, following her husband’s job transfer, Tuncer moved with her husband and their four year old daughter to Portland, Oregon.

The move created an identity shift she had never anticipated. The recognition and public identity she had spent decades building no longer preceded her into a room. She went from national celebrity to, in her words, “a celebrity in a household of three.”

Her fame did not cross the Atlantic. Her charisma did.

And eventually she realized she had not lost her stage. It had evolved.

Türkiye was where she mastered her craft. Portland was where she was asked to pass it on.

Tuncer immersed herself in her new community through volunteer work, immigrant storytelling and women’s initiatives. As women increasingly asked her to help them develop what they saw in her, she encountered a question that would change the direction of her career: How do you teach charisma?

Tuncer began reverse engineering what had become instinctive over a lifetime and had been tested across three decades of captivating millions on screen and commanding global stages. She decoded the behaviors and choices that allow us to capture and hold attention, create connection, earn trust, become memorable and ultimately move people to action.

From that work, The Celebrity Charisma Code™ was born.

The Celebrity Charisma Code™ is not a formula for fame. It reverse engineers what a lifetime in performance taught Tuncer about human attention: why we notice certain people, why we trust them, why we remember them and why some people move us to action. The methodology turns charisma from an abstract concept into a tangible, teachable and repeatable skill that can be developed, refined and mastered.

Today, Tuncer brings that methodology to leaders across Fortune 500 companies, government, deep tech and defense, with work including Pfizer, Ford and NATO DIANA. She has appeared at global leadership and HR summits and was a featured performer at the inaugural TEDxReset in Istanbul.

The methodology has also been taught in the classroom. As adjunct faculty at Pacific University, Tuncer taught The Celebrity Charisma Code™ to undergraduate business students. The course succeeded, and the dean invited her back to teach it to the university’s MBA candidates.

Her second career remains deeply connected to the community where it began. Tuncer serves as Creative Director, Performance Coach and Story Coach for The Immigrant Story Live and mentors and coaches women through leadership and empowerment initiatives in the United States and internationally. She is a former commissioner on the City of Portland’s New Portlanders Policy Commission, where she served on the community engagement committee, and continues that work in other forms today. It was also in Portland that she was given the nickname “The Queen of Charisma.”
